ABOUT US

Bruce Reihana

Founder

Bruce’s rugby credentials are some of the best you’ll find to lead your kids on their rugby journey:

  • All Black & Maori All Black

  • 2x Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist

  • Played with world rugby icons Jonah Lomu, Christian Cullen & Eric Rush

  • Barbarians

  • World XV team

  • Northampton Saints Captain

As an idol for many kids in the 1990s 2000s, he’s one of the best utility backs to have ever graced the UK shores.

On the back of his successful 5 years with the Waikato Chiefs in NZ, his form continued

in Northampton at Franklin's Gardens, picking up the 2003–2004 PRA Players' Player of the Year award.

After 9 years of dedication to the Saints, he and his wife Laura took their young family

to France, where Bruce played for the Top14 side, Union Bordeaux Bègles.

It was there in Bordeaux that Bruce took the leap from player to coaching staff in 2015.

Bruce returned to his adopted homeland of England, joining the Bristol Bears in 2017 as a Skills and Kicking Coach, being instrumental in their surge to success from the Championship into the Gallagher Premiership in 2018.

With two further successful seasons in “Brizzle”, Bruce came to the end of his contract in 2020.

And so, Reihana Rugby was born…

…(even though he’d love to play golf 24/7 and learn French from his bilingual kids).
